Word Scramble
One scrambled word for everyone. Type it first.

A word race for the whole room. Everyone gets the same word with its letters shuffled, C · S · O · H · L · O · O becomes SCHOOL, and types the real word on their own phone, tablet or laptop keyboard. The faster you solve it, the more points you score; wrong tries cost nothing and only you see them. A category tells you where to look, the blanks show how many letters each word has, and at half time the first letter appears for everyone. Play in English or Vietnamese: in Vietnamese the tiles keep their accents, and you can type with or without them.
How to play Word Scramble
Goal
- Score the most points by unscrambling each word first.
How it works
- Everyone gets the same word with its letters shuffled. The category and the blanks (letters per word) are your clues.
- Type the word on your own keyboard. Once every letter is in, it sends itself; Enter or Send works too. Spaces and capitals never matter.
- Wrong tries cost nothing and only you see them: try as often as you like until the clock runs out.
- A solve scores 500 points plus up to 500 more for speed, and the first to solve a word gets 100 extra. Any real word made of exactly the same letters counts.
- In Vietnamese, the tiles keep their accents but you don't have to type them, unless the host turns on "Accents count".
- The highest score after the last word wins.

Questions and answers
Do I have to type the Vietnamese accents?
No. The tiles show every accent as a clue, but typing "hoc sinh" solves "học sinh" just as well, so a phone without a Vietnamese keyboard can play. If your group wants a challenge, the host can turn on "Accents count", and then only the word with its accents solves it.
What if the letters spell another word too?
Any real word that uses exactly the same letters counts. If the tiles are L I S T E N, both LISTEN and SILENT solve it.
Does it work on a phone's keyboard?
Yes, it is made for it. While the keyboard is open your screen shows only the letters, the blanks, the clock and the box you type in, and the keyboard stays open from one word to the next. You don't even need to press Enter: once every letter is in, your answer sends itself.
Do we need a TV?
No. Every phone shows the letters, the blanks and the clock, so a group can play anywhere. A shared screen, a TV or a laptop, makes the reveal a moment for the whole room.
