Privacy
GatherPlay keeps as little as it can, for as short a time as it can.
What we store
- Rooms and games: the names you type, the game itself and the room code. Deleted 30 days after the room closes.
- A random ID on your device, so you can reconnect. It is not linked to who you are and is deleted after 30 days without use.
- Server logs, which include your IP address to stop abuse. Kept for 14 days.
- Feedback you send, with the contact you choose to add. Kept for 365 days.
- Game ratings: the score, the game and how many played. Kept for 365 days.
- Daily totals, like how many games were played. They say nothing about any person.
- Your sound, music, language and narrator settings, kept only in this browser.
What we never do
No third-party trackers and no selling data. We never ask for an email or an account.
Forget me
This removes your device ID and sessions from our server and renames you to Former player in rooms we still keep.
Feedback is not linked to your device. To delete feedback you sent, ask us through the feedback form.
